Timaru has a growing network of cycling tracks, from the popular Caroline Bay Walk and Cycleway along the waterfront to dedicated off-road options through Centennial Park and the Otipua Wetlands. The coastal Dashing Rocks Track and the headland circuit at Tuhawaiki (Jack’s) Point are well worth the ride. BMX and pump track options are covered at Caroline Bay and the Timaru BMX Club track.
